Courses

The Courses tab of the EmployPlan platform provides a top-down view of the different stages of the user's coursework. This summary is segmented into three categories; In Progress, To Do, and Completed. Additionally, courseware can be selected from the course explorer.

Summary

The summary of the courses provides a simple numerical view of the assigned courses and the status for each of them. Courses can be reviewed based on their completion status, being: In Progress, To Do, and Completed.

To Do

Courses that have been assigned to the user profile, but haven't been started or completed will wait to be started in the To Do drop-down menu. Pertinent information about the courses, such as Course author, length, type, and rating are available under the course's name.

Selecting the Start button will allow you to begin the selected course.

Completed

Courses that have been completed by the user will show up in the Completed drop-down menu. Pertinent information about the courses, such as Course author, length, type, and rating are available under the course's name.

Course Explorer

The Course Explorer is a library of technical and professional courseware, being pulled from leading eLearning platforms and categorized by their key information. Filters exist for skill type, course language, course type, and school provider.

There is also a search function that allows you to query the library directly.

Course Options

When navigating the course explorer, there are several options that are availble for each of the courses provided in the query. This includes selecting the course, tracking the course, and reporting the course.

Select the course by selecting the courses' name, which is in bold.

Course Tracking

Selecting the Save Icon will allow you to track the course to your user profile.

When selected, the Save icon will be filled in blue, and the course will be added to the To Do section of the Courses tab and in the Course section of the user's profile.

Report Course

Selecting the Report course flag will open a prompt window that allows you to file a report against the course.

After you have filled out the text box for the reason for the report, you can select the check box to hide the course if needed. When the report is completed, select the Ok button to submit it.
